The CowDetect concept has almost undreamt-of possibilities for decoding all changes in the behaviour of the animals

and all information related to their positions. The registrations can be used operationally to identify changes and/or conditions which are unsuitable and should be changed.  

The livestock manager has got a new operational tool for optimising management.

Data in hand

The general display is shown with colour markings on a hand terminal. The animals under observation are shown with different colour codes on a plan of the cowshed. As the production manager progresses on his rounds and approaches the animals, the markings change and become colour markings with the animal’s number.

There is also a set of updated master data for each animal. 

Activity measurement 

CowDetect can observe the animals very accurate.

This means that it is possible not only to measure the increased movement of the animals around the cowshed,

but also to register all mounting behaviour!

This gives a previously unseen option for indicating animals on heat and thus optimises the finances.
